Our true Canadian winters are icy and cold, allowing our delicate Cabernet Franc to freeze under moonlit nights. These grapes are harvested from Block 88 from one of our oldest vineyards in the region.
Winemaker's Notes:
The pressed juice is extremely rich and flavourful and is slowly fermented. A Gold winner at numerous wine competitions including VinItaly in Verona, Italy; International Wine Challenge in London, England; World Wine Championships in Chicago U.S.A; All Canada Wine Championship in Windsor, Canada; and InterVin in New York, U.S.A.
Tasting Notes:
The result is an incredible wine with garnet coloured hues. Aromas of sweet candied berries meet the nose and are followed by ripe, red raspberry and strawberry flavours. Superb balance and a finish to die for.
Food Pairings:
Perfect on its own or pair with chocolate dipped strawberries.
