Our true Canadian winters are strong and intense, allowing our most robust Vidal grapes to freeze under moonlit nights. These grapes are harvested from Block 88 from one of our oldest vineyards in the region.
Winemaker's Notes:
The pressed juice is extremely rich and flavourful and is slowly fermented. A Gold winner at numerous wine competitions including VinItaly in Verona, Italy; International Wine Challenge in London, England; World Wine Championships in Chicago U.S.A; All Canada Wine Championship in Windsor, Canada; and InterVin in New York, U.S.A.
Tasting Notes:
Layered aromas of tropical fruit, peach, apricot and honey introduce the unmatched flavours that follow through on the palate. Fresh ripe fig, toffee, and stone fruit dominate. The sweet finish is complimented by a crisp acidity that delicately balances this superb wine.
Food Pairings:
Fresh fruit fondues, bold blue cheeses or on its own as a dessert.
Shipping charges in Ontario are $30.00 per 12 bottles (case). Reif Estate online orders are available to Ontario addresses only. You must be 19 or older to order and must be available to sign for your order with proper identification.
