Vintage & Viticulture
The 2006/2007 winter was an average winter, in terms of temperature with no extreme cold spells. Seasonally higher summer temperatures, with quite hot and dry days, resulted in irrigation of the vineyard throughout the season. The end result was an exceptional vintage year. Sunny breaks in late October and early November along with warm temperatures, allowed the grapes to complete their ripening and harvest proved to be fruitful with excellent Brix levels and high acidity. The grapes were harvested Oct. 10, 2008, with Brix levels at 22.6°.

Tasting Notes:
Rich aromas of Pear and lychee nut, peach and ginger. Melon and lychee flavours are highlighted with ginger spice notes and a delicate sweetness.
Food Pairings:
Sweet and sour ribs, Pad Thai and most Asian inspired cuisine. Creamy cheeses and tropical fruits such as mango and pineapple pair well.
